World-Class Music Rehearsal Comes to The Silverlake/ Atwater Area

George & Marissa Bergen are proud to announce the grand opening of their new music rehearsal facility, Satellite Studios.
Located in the Silverlake/Atwater area of Los Angeles, Satellite Studios is available for hourly rental or daily and weekly production lockouts. Additionally, they welcome film, video and photo shoots.
“Our goal is to provide a comfortable, relaxed environment for musicians to be creative” says George. Mr Bergen was formerly an owner at Hollywoods Swing House Rehearsal & Recording where he worked with artists including; Iggy Pop, The Go Gos, The Bangles, George Thorogood, Rage Against the Machine, Green Day, STP, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more. His wife, Marissa, was part of the legendary NYC glam-punk band, Sisters Grimm. She adds “We recently moved to the Atwater area and noticed that many other musicians were doing so as well. There were no music rehearsal facilities in this area, so all of those people were driving downtown, to the valley or further . We set out to create a convenient, top notch studio for the musicians of our community.
George says that what sets Satellite apart from others is “the perfect balance of convenience, comfort and quality. “we’ve really tried to create rooms that make you feel like you’re playing in your own living room. Our gear is top-of-the-line. All of our rooms feature loud P.A.s with JBL, Mackie and Crown components. Also, our backline equipped rooms feature well-maintained Marshalls, Ampegs, Pearl, Gretsch, Evans Drumheads and much more. We have an awesome game room with a pool table and Playstation 2 and more being added all of the time. Abundant free, secure parking is available and we’re easy to access from the 5, 2, 134, and 101 freeways. And, finally, each room has it’s own clean, well-stocked restroom.
